Akadema Praying Mantis
Besides the price difference what are the differences between the akadema praying mantis and pro soft glove?
Im looking at the adult size 33.5 inch catcher model. What are the differences? good and bad? Is the extra $60 worth it to get the praying mantis?

After looking at the two variations, I am leaning towards the Praying Mantis series, APM40. I like the "stress wedge" between the index finger and the thumb which should help absorb a lot of the shock and sting. I think the Flexhinge component will help the glove snap shut when the ball arrives and the larger pocket will allow you to retain more throws then typical gloves. For $150 I think this is a very durable glove that will give you good use for a number of years.
