What could I do to fix my VHF radio antenna?
I did something embarrassing. After I was done fishing,I left my VHF antenna up and it broke going under a bridge. I was wondering if there is a way I can fix it. Like a repair kit or does anyone have any ideas of fixing it. Its made a flexible material kinda like a very thing wood. Does anyone have any ideas?
It's not repairable. Go buy a new one. The windings inside of the core is now damaged.

I am about to buy a dvd head unit, what do i NEED to buy to install it?
i am about to buy a pioneer avh p500 and i have no clue on what i need to buy with it. i think i need a wiring harness, a dash kit, and an antenna but im not so sure. What do i need,how much and where to buy??? Do i really NEED it or is it just easier if i have it for the installer?
yes you will need all of that along with some buttsplices or some twist wire nuts to connect the wiring harness to the pioneer's wiring harness.. The dash kit probaly cost around 15-25 bucks, the wiring harness around $16 and the antenna adaptor around $10. just a tip but there will be a wire for your parking brake so you can watch the tv. just hook it up to a switch and another wire on the other side of the switch to a ground. this will let you watch a movie while driving. its not recommened but it helps out if you have passengers with you.
