Anti Speed Camera Sprays
Anti Speed Camera Number Plate Sprays..?
I'm considering purchasing the number plate spray which the makers claim can prevent the flash from a speed camera reading the number plate.
Has anyone used this product and does it do what it says on the tin?
Thank you everyone for replying. I posed the question because a speed camera caught out my father whilst driving my car, who was visiting from abroad. To all those who advised, in a somewhat condescending manner, to adhere to the speed limit, I can only say that anyone carrying a pack of condoms in his inside jacket pocket is not ALWAYS seeking or is guaranteed sex!
With modern silent and powerful cars, it is all too easy to momentarily break the enforced speed limit by 10%.
It only works where theres a flash, It does'nt work against lasers.
Someone mentioned mud. Mud has to be thick (thicker that the driver) so the flash cannot penetrate.....but is totally illegal because your number plate (by law) has to be kept clean and visible at ALL times. They do not listen to... "but I've just driven a hundred miles and it was clean when I started".
Better to purchase a copy of 'UK Driving Secrets' . That does work!. Use the stupid 'hand behind your back laws' against them. It worked for me three times.
(and I'm not a 'speed merchant', its just that, some of the locations and the limits just don't make sense!)

i am a law abiding citizen and i dont condone anti-social behaviour or vandalism. however there is something about seeing a speed camera thats been torched or spray painted that makes me smile. am i the only one?
No you are not the only one. Indeed, while I would never do such a thing, I detest those damned cameras. I have often thought a few enterprising youths with paint ball guns could do the motoring public a great service with an evening foray.
Yes they work, and the urban myth about how if you change lanes between cameras they cant get you? Dont belive it.
