Auto Power Cable
Car wont start and battery cables have no power getting through them. Can anyone help?
I have a 93 cavalier the battery cables have no power getting through them. All the lights turn on and everything works it just wont start. When you turn it over all it does is clicks once in the starter relay. We tried jumping it with another car and there was no power in the terminals. We had the battery, alternator, and starter check at auto zone and they were all working. The ground wire is mounted to the frame and is rusting. Since the terminals have no power is that because the ground doesn't have a good connection?
You have a 16 year old car it would not be imposable to need new cables. If starter ,alt, and batt. checked out then i would replace the cables. The cables over the years can corrode on the inside were you can' t see. I hopes this helps.

Why my portable hard disk auto disconnect/connect?
Hi all,
I have a 500-GB portable Transcend drive. It is a 2.5" drive, operate using the power supply of USB port. The companion is the USB Y-cable. I always connect both cable to the computer (for the drive to get enough power supply.)
At the first time, there was no problem. However since 1 weeks recently, it often happen to me that the drive, auto disconnect from the computer, and reconnect right after that (it show the auto play procedure, some time the computer can connect again, but sometimes ""USB device unrecognized".
What's wrong with my drive? I only have 100GB inside. I try to separate the contents into more folders but it didn't work. May be it's the power problem, but i don't know how to solve
Hey,
try connecting to different or other USB ports and see what happens. If the same things happen with other USB ports,then uninstall the drivers of USB from device manager,restart your computer and reconnect the 2.5" drive.Do let me know what happens.
