Who's responsible for TV rooftop antenna in rented property?
I have been living in a rented property for about 2.5 years. I live above my landlords shop in the UK. When we moved in the TV antenna was rubbish. A very small antenna hanging off the roof. I asked the landlord who has a massive wide-band antenna next to it to sort it out & his response was less than favourable. I felt I had no other option but to get cable TV even though I didn't want it! I now know for a fact that he has a huge antenna that works & he watches TV on it out the back. The shop address is different to his home address so he doesn't pay the TV license at the shop. I do! As it's more expensive to live now with rising electricity, heating and food bills i've found I can no longer afford cable TV. I would prefer to use Free view instead. Does he have to sort this out seeing as he's watching TV while I am paying for the license? I don't want to shell out having an antenna installed only to move out & not be able to take it with me? Please advise?
They are not responsible for an antenna. They must provide certain things, but that is not one of them.
In our last property we had to provide an antenna. But when we moved we made sure we took it with us!

what antenna i should use to transmit on the band 1,5MHz-8MHz.i want to use one antenna only,can i ??
i am gonna use (1-5)KWatt transmitter
There is a 1 : 5.33 frequency ratio there so a single antenna is not going to be anywhere close to optimal. Perhaps you could use an impedance matching network to allow the one antenna to work on all bands but it will not be very efficient.
