Band Display Accessory
Should I get Rock Band for Xbox 360 or PS3?
I have both systems, and I am not a fanboy of either one of them. I can't find the native display resolutions of either version of the game but my display can display 1080p with no problems. Both versions are the same price and come with the same accessories that will play on their respective systems. I guess I'm leaning in favor of the Xbox one because I already have the Gibson Xplorer guitar from Guitar Hero II and apparently it will work for RB.
Thoughts? Opinions?
Graphically, both games are similar. The PS3 version has the advantage of a USB hub that's self powered (where all of the instruments will plug into) while the Xbox 360's hub will have to plug into an AC outlet. That isn't a big deal for me, per se, but could be for others. If you are interested in playing online, the Xbox 360 will be the way to go. Their online service will be much better than PS3's in that you can find your friends easily and have them jam with you. Also, if you already have the Xplorer then you've got the bass guitar for your friends that come over and aren't good enough to justify buying another Rock Band guitar. Hope this helps!
