Blackhawk Black
How much is this Sturm Ruger .357 cal Blackhawk worth?
I have a Sturm Ruger .357 cal. blackhawk. Serial #30-07711. I believe according to ruger's website this would make it a 1969 blackhawk. It shoots nice. It is blued. It has three screws in the frame. The grips are walnut w/ a silver medallion with a black Ruger phoenix in it.
Although the phoenix is worn some. I'm thinking of trading it for a rifle or selling it. What is it worth?
If it's a 3 screw like you say and an original Flat Top it could be worth some serious dime. My advice is to spend some time researching it see if it is the model they called a Flat Top. If it is it could be worth over $1000 no lie. I was all set to buy one once for $200 and somebody beat me to it while I was researching it. Condition means a lot if the bluing is worn as well as the grip it would be worth less.

The Black Hawk that was just shot down over Baghdad would be at least the eighth U.S. helicopter to crash or be taken down by hostile fire in the past MONTH.
