Camera Shy
how can i become more photogenic and less camera shy?
I am so camera shy, and it annoys me a lot.
I'm scared that when they go to upload the photos onto facebook, that they'll be shocking of me.
How can i stop thinking this? and also.. how can i become more photogenic!?

Experiment. Find your 'good side'.
You can do this by setting a camera on a desk, standing in front of it, and posing left, then right, and then forward. This will help you decipher which side is your 'best'. When someone aims to take a photo of you, just turn to your good side and the picture has a 85% better chance of not turning out hideous. I've learned this from experience.
Also, when you smile, think of something funny, or something that can make you naturally smile. Forced smiles tend to turn out awful in photos because a smile is all about the eyes. If your expression doesn't tie together with everything - your body posture, smile, eyes, etc - it'll just look peculiar.
You'll learn to master it eventually, don't worry.

How to get over being camera (video) shy?
I take acting classes and I love it but when I get on camera I get so nervous and forget my lines and I forget to add emotions...........how do i get over that. I am 19 yrs old, I work and I take online classes plus my acting classes. I really like acting and It so exciting to me. My teacher/director tell me I am doing great until the camera is on.........
I really want to fix this because I love acting
so can someone give me some ideas of how to get over it....

the more you act in front of cameras and people, the less nervous you get. soon you'll be able to focus on putting up the best performance without even feeling bothered about the pairs of eyes staring at you or the cameras.
