Can I eliminate my top speed or change my shifting times with an OBD cable?
I have a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Im thinking about buying Ebay item number: 250047465008 , but I want to be able to tune my car with software. Can someone please tell me if this will work. If not, what kind of cord or interface will i need. I don't plan on buying a $400 hypertech programmer or however much they are.Thanks Everyone.

Where is the OBD Port on a 2002 Grand AM located?
I'm supposed to plug a device into the OBD port of my car so I can get a discount with the insurance company I'm with but I cannot find it. Anybody have any idea of where it might be located?
The bigger question is what are they having you plug in and why. Are they going to leave it there. Your obd port gives access to all the computers on your car. There is no way I would let someone install somthing in mine to save a few dollars, especially if it turns out you were going to fast when you crashed.
