Car Diagnose Diagnostic
I took my car to get the airconditioning repaired. The guy charged my $50 to for diagnostic tests?
but after he did, he told me that he didn't repair air conditioning in my type of car and I'd have to take it someplace else to get repaired.
Don't you think he should have told me that before charging me $50 to diagnose the problem?
I would of refused to pay!!
Most diagnostics dont work/look at the AC!
He should of told you that he didnt deal with that type of car before accepting it!

Auto Repair & Diagnostics : How to Diagnose an Engine Problem
problems with the car computer, but what may have caused it?
I brought the car to this auto electric for a diagnostic because the a/c did not work correctly (no cold air). They diagnosed it needed a sensor and they had to order it first. I went back home with the car, the next morning battery was dead, I recharged it, the next morning again dead. I went back to the electric because they had the sensor in stock and I told them what was happening. Once they did the sensor work the car worked allright for two days, then next morning car dead again. My dad said it was the battery so I bought a new one, car worked for two days with no problem and then battery dead again. I go back to the autoelectric and they say they had nothing to do with that problem but they'd charge me $40 to find out what is wrong. I went then to our mechanic and they find out the computer is screwed up and I need a new one.
Any chances the auto electric messed my car's computer while doing the diagnostic?
It's not impossible, but unlikely. Many cars, such as my Chrysler LeBaron actually have the voltage regulator built into the car's computer. This could have actually been your problem all along.
