i have a e39 m57 engine, on my obd1 port, i dont have a pin 15 (l-line) for diags how do i do it ?
my diagnostic tool requires a pin 15 (l-line) but i dont have one on my obd1 port
the interface is BMW compatable interface 6.1 and has lights for (so i guess it wants) 20 (k),17(k), and 15 (l)
Now I know the professional stuff works on my car, so there must be a way - what does L-line do .. and can i get around it ? thanks
Take it to a dealer, as the professional stuff works !!!! It's probably inadvisable to fiddle with this stuff unless you REALLY know what you're doing.
