City Long Beach
Gulf of Mexico oil explosion: when the oil comes to Panama city beach, FL, how long until it goes away?
The oil is coming here and is going to ruin our beautiful beaches, running them with black, disgusting oil that is going to kill our fish and scenery. But when it does, I want to have hope that one day they will be clean and beautiful again, how long will it take for the oil to go away?
So far things are looking great for the Panama City Beach area. The oil spill is pretty far west to begin with. The currents and wind have been blowing west to keep it moving in that direction. The latest models are showing the farther east impact region as Mobile, AL. Unless something changes we should be OK. I am going to start updating a blog on shown at the link below with updated information and helpful links if it starts heading this way. You can land at Long Beach Airport, check the airlines first. Most popular for that airport is JetBlue. The airport is probably about 20 minutes from the convention center. The city of San Pedro is one long bridge away, about 6 miles away and south of Long Beach is Seal Beach city. Check mapquest for specific directions.
