My wife had the benefits and the higher salary until she was laid off because they closed the school at the church she was teaching at. No Cobra will be as bad as the job loss......any suggestions?

where can i find the location of the VIN on a 2001 cobra mustang engine?
I recently bought a Cobra and like an idiot i trusted the guy who sold it to me. He was a high school friend so when he told me he swapped engines I didnt think to ask for paperwork, VIN or verification that the new engine was legit. I feel like sometimes the engine lacks power but then again it could be a number of things. I first want to verify the new engine is indeed a cobra engine. Thanks!
