well why dont you put it in your car and drive around really fast and see if it works that way....how else are you suppose to find out if it still works. Might be helpful if you know a cop and he can help ya out so you dont get a ticket too.

What is a good Radar/Laser detector.?
I have heard about one called Phaser. Ive seen others like Cobra and other cheap brands. Whats something to look for in a good Radar/Laser detector?
