Cobra Radar Detector Xrs 979
What exactly are bands in radar detectors?
Ive noticed that there are 5 bands, 6 bands, 15 bands, etc, etc but what exactly does this mean. Is it the more the bands the better or what? Also I'm thinking about buying a Cobra XRS 979. If anyone has any information on it id appreciate it.
The police departments use different radar bands.
It is only better to get as many different bands if the detector can alert radar detection for as many different bands as possible at the same time.
The best detectors offered to pay for your tickets if you buy their detector.
Consumers digest will give you the best pick on detectors.
Caution detectors are illegal in some states!
Some Police departments use lasers, and the radar detectors are useless. So some detectors detect both radar and lidar (laser radar).
