Cord Fuse
I am installing a new C.B radio in my truck and when i connect the power cord i keep blowing the fuse in the?
in the power cord for the unit
All CB radios have a diode on the circuit board that protects the radio from major damage if the radio is hooked up backwards by accident. But once it is hooked up backwards, the diode shorts and the radio will continue to blow fuses until the diode is replaced. It's an easy and common fix for anyone who works on CBs.

Why when I added a switch into the power cord of my pc (3-6 amp switch) and have a 5 amp fuse in the plug...?
...does the switch get really hot after using my PC? I added the switch to stop my pc turning on when I restored power to the master switch block. Currently I am using a normal power cord.
Is it the switch is not suitable or is it faulty?
because your pc is drawing a fair bit of current. Several amps, anyway. The operating current of that switch may be between 3 and 6 amps, per spec, but I'd have been tempted to put in a switch that gives quite a bit of headroom, and the one you're using doesn't, ESPECIALLY if your power supply has the passthrough to the monitor.
The fuse will handle surges. the switch is just to isolate the pc. swap the switch out for one that will handle a higher current.
