Dash Cam System
If you could what sort of car would you modify and what would you do to it?
Id do a Rover SD1
Id strip it back to bare metal, have the body shell galvanised and repainted in a nice dark blue colour, then fit a Jaguar 4.2 Supercharged V8 (lightly tweaked, new exahaust system, racing cam shafts up rate the super charger etc), and running gear, AP racing brakes competition clutch, LSD.
Interior by Aston Martin (i'm thinking grey leather with a custom built dash and instruments), electric everything, sound system by Harmann Kardon (no sat nav), and maybe some DB9 esq wheels

99 Grand Caravan throwing a P1391?
Intermittent loss of the crank or cam sensor signal.

Engine cuts out for short spurts during hard acceleration. Electrical system seems to be cut out a bit too (causing the dash lights to dim and the AC fan to reduce sporadically), but this may be unrelated? Seemed to have the problem for a while before the engine code was thrown. Just now had trouble starting it. The engine would catch, then immediately die. I pushed on the camshaft sensor wires (I think. Its the one at the base of the distributor) and it started fine and made it home. I checked the connector and everything seems to be clean.
Any suggestions? Could an electrical problem cause the sensor to cut out like that without causing any other problems? What are the odds it is the sensor itself? I have to pull the distributor to get to it, so I'd rather not replace it if I don't have to.
Any advise is much appreciated.
Most common causes are a bad camshaft position sensor. Wiring to the cam sensor or a cracked flexplate (flywheel).
You said the other issues showed up before the code set so the flexplate is a likely suspect.
Inspect the CMP sensor connector and wiring to it very carefully for chaffing or loose pins. If you dont find aything it's likely to be the sensor or flywheel. which will be difficult to determine without a labscope unless you feel like pulling the trans just for a quick inspection.
