Detector Carrying Case
Metal Detectors at the Air Port?
I'm really worried about the metal detectors at the air port and some things that i want to bring. I have my ipod and ipod speakers with me and my cell phone? I'm gonna keep my cell on me and my ipod in my carry on, but i'm curious about the speakers. I want to put them in my suit case but i'm sure the metal detectors will catch it. What do i do? should i just keep it in my carryon? I can do that but it would be kind of a pain. And then I know this may sound stupid, but I'm bringing my belt, and loads of sweatshirts, and pants with metal zippers and clasps. Could anything go wrong with that? I think i can deal with the rest of the airport but i'm really worried about the metal detectors.
Ohh... and my brother has his laptop... I think he's going to keep it in his carryon but i'm still worried about that!!
your electronics that you carry on will go through the xray and I've never had a metal detector go off on zippers, but I have had metal hair barettes and belts set it off.
you'll be asked to remove your belts, change in pockets and I recommend removing hair barettes and let them go through the xray.
your checked luggage will most likely be searched if it sets anything off but that is done away from you and you will receive a note in your suitcase that says that security searched your luggage.
if you have something that you are concerned could be stolen from your luggage such as your ipod speakers, then I would carry them on. FWIW, I leave chargers in my checked bags but I never leave electronics, like ipods, dvd players, computers, or cameras in checked bags. I carry them on. (they all fit in my one computer bag)
security will ask you to remove all of your electronics that you carry on and place them in a tray that goes through the xray.

cops found weed and alcohol in my car what will my charges be?
so i let my friend borrow my car one day i forgot i had 2 bottles of liqour in my trunk and he ends up crashing it. fleas the scene so the cops search my car and find the liquor. they also say they found marijuana yet i never ever carry marijuana on me or in my car. my friend sells marijuana but says it wasnt his i have sort of believe him because why would he leave the bud there. this happened yesterday and the police officer on the case is contacting me in two days what do you think will happen to me. and is there any way i can get the marijuana charges dropped maybe by lie detector or something please helllp im stressing so much. =/ no previous offenses ever too.
I believe the police would need to prove that you possessed the items in question. From what you have told us, they do not have such proof unless you start talking. Are you underage? If not, what is wrong about keeping two bottles of booze in the trunk? If you are underage, how do you know that they found the bottles that you kept there and not bottles your friend put there?
I recommend that you talk to an attorney and have them talk to the police. You have a right to not say anything as I'm sure you know. Exercise it. Your friends sounds like he is responsible for all of this and there is really no proof that you possessed the booze or the marijuana, it all points to your friend.

This is bigger than I thought it would be – LOL! Very nice carrying case, log book, 20 EO's, 80 FO's and tiny little numerical labels (1 thru 200).
You guys really need to get on this – everything fits nicely in the carrying case, so you can't lose anything! Even if you drop the carrying case – not to worry! All the EO and FO bottles are encased in a very thick foam!
