how much does a carton of cigarettes cost in france?
and how much tobacco products can you take on plane. and would you have to go through customs? or could i just put that in my purse because when you go through the detectors it says to take out tobacco products in one of those little bins.
I'm a non-smoker, but the price for a carton of cigarettes includes lots of tax in France. If you're flying, you should buy duty free on board when you're in the air. My daughters who smoke and live in France do it every time they fly. I think you can bring 2 cartons of ten packs per person into the States and into France, especially if you've purchased them on board from the duty free cart. Sorry but I don't know the price which varies depending on what brand you smoke.

Will a Metal Detector Damage a DVD?
Recently I was packing my DVD collection because I am preparing to move. I packed the DVDs horizontally along the bottom of the crate on their sides with two levels of dvds. The crate itself is a milk carton crate purchased at Wal-Mart. My nephew had been playing with his metal detector and placed the metal detector on the crate of DVDs. The metal detector was off at the time.
My question is: will this damage my DVDs in any way?
No. It's a simple as that. Tapes maybe but not any kind of optical disc which is what a DVD is.
