how much does ADT charge for wireless smoke detectors (per extra detector)?
anyone have ADT or have a site where i can find out? I wanna know how much it costs per detector other than the free one they give you. i know how much the monitoring is, i just wanna know the price per unit cause i want more than one!
also if anyone knows the price for an extra wireless door contact that would be cool too!

Extra wireless door contacts from ADT are $80/sensor. Not entirely too sure about the smoke sensors though...in the monitoring center they give a parts average of $75/sensor, but that may not be the exact pricing. For exact pricing contact ADT's sales department at 1-800-238-2727, and they'll be able to help you out with the smoke sensors.

Is a gas boiler safer to be serviced every 6 or 12 months?
I have my gas boiler serviced every 12 months, its about 12 years old, i also use a carbon monoxide detector to be extra safe,but as seen as a gas boiler can get a problem any time would it be better to have this serviced every 6 months instead?
A service every 12 months is plenty on a gas boiler. Especially as you have a c.o detector. Working on the boiler any more than that is asking for trouble as engineer could disturb something that is working well. Stick to 1 annual service & check operation of c.o detector regularly.
