Is there a regulation for having things a certain distance beneath a smoke detector?
Ive got management at my apartment complex coming to inspect my apartment as part of their annual fire safety inspections.
I installed a extra rubbermaid closet on a blank wall since our closet is tiny and I am just now noticing that the top of the shelving is up roughly a half foot beneath the smoke detector. Will I get in trouble?

Stupid question, but why didn't they use one on him as part of evidence? I thought it was shameful he didn't have to speak long after the murder. If Jeremy Kyle can be using them and then brand people liars, cheaters etc, why not put on on Entwistle? He showed no reactions outwardly, needed to see what was going on inside his head.
