something like that happened to my uncle. He was going to the carribean and had recently got screws in his leg and they set off the metal detector. He got a note from his doctor that he carries around to explain the screws in his leg. Talk to your doctor to get a note from them.

what was wrong here?
i got a speeding ticket the other day for 83mph......it was on the highway around a long turn where a cop used ladar on me...
the problem is, that i wasnt speeding...i know this as fact, because i had my dogs loose in the car, and risking myself while driving fast is ok, risking there safety is of utmost importance to me...
when i rounded the long turn and saw him...he was already with the laser gun down and pulling the door closed, and i do have a radar detector with lasar...and it never went off!
now just before i rounded the road, there was an audi, the same color as my car that blew past me, and i have this feeling the cop was actually busting me thinking i was the speeder...
can a story like this give me any kind of sympathy or understanding in court...i dont really cares what happens to my record cause its very clean..but it is a lot of money to pay, and its that, that i dont have!
i think the cop did make that mistake..hopefully the judge understands that police are people too..they can make mistakes...and since they are bigger than average idiots...you should get off
