RADAR DETECTOR - NO SOUND?
I have a Bel "Vector 985"...about 4 or 5 years old, works great, but just recently the sound stopped working. Anyone know how to fix this...the sound is turned on and everything seems normal...just no sound at all.
The little speaker might be broken. You could try to open the thing up and look for lose connections and such. Mostly though, when stuff like this happens its time for a new one, if you cant deal without the sound. good luck

Physics/Engineering question about inversion and reflection of waves.?
If a photovoltaic detector diode or camera sensor were pointed at a picture hanging on the wall in a well lit room and could theoretically invert, amplify, and retransmit (using a light emitter) the incoming signal in a vector mathematically opposite to the incoming signal, what would be the result?
I don't expect anything to become invisible or turn black, but would there be any visual phenomena of significance?
