I have Sims 2 on Nintendo DS. I have the version where you are running the hotel. the first person who occupies the penthouse is a character named frankie fusilli. He asks you to buy the metal detector and find three bars of metal in the desert and bring it back to him. Do you know how to complete this goal?
ok go to the little store it's in the building where one of the doors looks all boarded up.. then go to the desk buy the detector... go to the desert ..lookin the pockets section tap the little detectorpic tap the hand pic.. then walk around when it beeps tap the shovel..it will say what it found when it run out of battery go to the furnace and then click detector...

Motion Detector feature on laptop?
Can someone give me the "Cliffs notes" version of how a laptop motion detector works? Does it take a picture every time you open your laptop? I haven't set mine up, and I'm wondering if it's even worth it.
If you have the computer already up and running, and there is motion in front of the camera, THEN it takes a picture (or starts recording video).
If the laptop is closed, or NOT up and running, then it does NOT take pictures or video. This is because it would take far too long for the computer to load an operating system, and activate the capture software. By that time, the action in front of the camera would have changed, or be gone.
So, if you want to use the laptop motion detection feature that came with your laptop, you are going to have to leave the lid up, and the laptop running.
