Detector Windshield Mount Are the police detector in cars illegal in Texas?
The ones that mount up on your windshield and tell you if a cop is shooting radar etc? Can you have those in Texas? Because I just bought one and it already saved my ass but IF I got pulled over and a cop takes up my 150$ radar I sure am gonna be pissed.

You were lucky the officer apparently took his Radar off "standy" mode.
Must've been a rookie. I catch more people with detectors and when they ask for a warning...I point to their detector and let them know...that WAS their warning! What it didn't work????
