Dial Type
Anyone know how to re-wire an old 4 prong type landline telephone to a modern type plug?
I have a few neat old dial type telephones from the Sixties and Seventies I bought at a tag sale and since I have DSL, I have a landline and I would like to use these phones.
I know they all work, but all of them have these big four prong type plugs, and that is far different looking than today's modern style clip plug you find on all USA land line phones that you can easily plug into a wall.
SO, my question is there a website whern I can look up instructions on how to re-wire these type phones so I can easily hook them up to modern connections? I could buy an adaptor for nearly thirty bucks, but it is ugly looking and besides, it can't be too hard to rewire a old phone that already works.
Any help or pointing me towards a link with re-wiring instructions and help is appreciated!
i do . Just get a new cord and put it onthe phone. you can get them a phone mart.mIt is only two wires to hook up.Use the red an green that will work for You.

What's the best type of file to save a small video clip?
I made a small video clip and I wanna postr it online but it takes a really long time (cause I have dial-up and the type of file I save it is mpg). So does anyone know what's the best type of file to save a small video clip? (the clip is only like 54 sec.)
WMV has become a good contender for the best video file type, it usually ends up with smaller file sizes than other formats, yet still has good quality. Microsoft at least did something right with the wmv format.
