Emergency Services

Does anyone use a car club other than AAA for emergency services?
I like having a car club for emergencies and have been with AAA for decades, but they're not cheap and aren't always that reliable. Has anyone had any experience with any other service or club providing emergency roadside assistance? I'm not talking about OnStar or something that comes with a new car. My car has 184,000 miles and I need the peace of mind from belonging to a car club.
Thanks for your responses.
Hi there,
I have auto insurance with Farmers and they offered Towing service (include Jump cable. towing, replace flat tires, pretty much like AAA) with cheaper cost. LAst time I got a dead battery, Icalled their customer service and they came to help me within like 10 min
CHeck with your local Farmers agent about that
Good luck

A Tribute To Our Real Life Heroes - The Emergency Services
Am I respnsible for my 19 year old son's emergency services from an accident with my vehicle?
My son (19 at the time) was involved in a accident with a vehicle registered in my name. He took the car without my permission and there was no insurance. The emergency services provided at the scene (fire/ambulance crews) were billed to me. I don't feel this is my responsibility because he was 19 and he was in the accident. Am I right or wrong?
Send the bill back to them with a note saying "I was never provided any such service. Send the bill to whom you provided the service." If it was the fire department that would be different, but an ambulance is for the person, not the vehicle.
