In Ontario, what color flashing light is legal to display in car window while pulled over in an emergency?
Okay, two of my wife's cars have been rear ended while she was pulled over assisting on the scene of car accidents. She works for EMS and is magnetically attracted to the scene of an accident ... I wish she would keep driving but what can I do. I want to rig small discrete flashing LED's in her rear window so when she is pulled over she is more visible to oncoming traffic. What I don't want is to see her get a ticket for pretending to be a cop or something. What color is legal in Ontario?

According to the law, you can't have *ANY* coloured flashing strobe lights unless it is a marked emergency vehicle.
In this cause, with a vehicle that belongs to a member of the general public (such as your personal car) can only have and Amber light (much like your 4-way flashers.
Go visit your local police department, explain what has happened (much like you did to us) and they will tell you what the law says you can legally have.
