What signs do you expect to be in the fashion design industry?
I was watching Project Runway Season 5 (leave me alone), and there was an episode where they announced all the sun signs of the contestants and paired 'em up so they could design an outfit based on one of their astrological signs.
I noticed there were a distinct amount of Sagittarians, Aquarians, and Libras. To me, that isn't very surprising, though there were also a noticeable number of Scorpios, which I did not expect.
Do you think this is surprising or not, and why? What signs do you associate with fashion and fashion-design?
I think for Sags and Aquas, it's a matter of being able to express their ideas freely and possibly because of the potential for socializing.
Libras are very artistic and interested in anything that enhances the appearance or makes people feel better about themselves. Scorpios are all about passion, so it seems very likely that they took the risk, even if they were not sure about the vocational rehabilitation part.
On top of my list, I would put:
Pisces: Because they seem so interested in picking the right colours, the right patterns and the whole 'dream package' they think of while sleeping, lol...One of my friends is a Pisces rising and she's very much like that. My Pisces sister decides what she's going to wear on Monday from Friday night. *banging my head on the wall*
I think clothes can be/are part of the "fairytale" and Pisces are also very artistic in nature.
And Virgos: Extreme focus on the details, the cuts, they know everything about what works and what doesn't and they usually have great minds for the trade. Very concerned about the visual. Can be very hard-working, too.
Extremely discerning eyes, can spot imperfection a mile away from the object.

What is your favorite "peanut butter" proof of intelligent design?
1. Since mold doesn't grow on vaccuum-sealed jars of peanut butter, abiogenesis is false. (Chuck Missler)
2. Peanuts and butter have never been observed to breed in the wild, therefore peanut butter must have been intelligently designed. (Em Adjineri)
3. Other (please elaborate).
3. Not only do peanuts and butter not interbreed in the wild, but peanuts are plants, and butter is animal-based (if it's real butter). The existence of a plant-animal hybrid like this would tend to suggest a designer, since we cannot find a common ancestor for peanuts and butter. That is, we cannot find an example of an organism with plant-cell walls, and animal fat cells. The existence of peanut butter violates the laws of the kind of things we could expect to find in nature if the theory of evolution is correct.
