What's the best game console overall? PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii?
Considering the graphics, the price of the console, the price of new games, additional equipment needed to make the most of the console and so on..
I would have to say the Xbox 360 because of the price and the way the system feels. There are tons of things you can do with the system settings themes music etc.The PS3 Does have pretty much the same graphics The PS3 is great don't get me wrong but its just not as good as the xbox 360.
Next year i would say the PS3 will be a better platform. And the Wii is'nt so much a complete platform.

The games on both systems cost pretty much the same but the xbox 360 has more games.
I prefer playing the 360 but they are still pretty darn good systems

How do I hook up my VCR to my PC to capture video? What equipment do I need?
I can't seem to find any help on what I'm looking for particularly. My PC lists in the device manager that I have a WDM Video For Windows Capture Driver (Win32). I'm assuming that's my video capture card. I also looked at the back of my console and noticed I have a port for a Firewire cable plug in. Do I have the necessary components import video from VHS onto my PC? If so, how would I go about hooking it up?
I don't think most pre-built computers come with a pre-installed card or have it built on-board the motherboard. But I could be very wrong.
You need to see if there are any Audio/Video connectors in the back of your computer (and front, I guess). RCA-phono jacks (like what goes into DVD's, TV's, Stereo receivers, Tape Decks, etc..), S-Video jack, etc..
I've bought a few capture devices. I've gotten cards for $5-$15 after rebate, as well as a USB device for $50 after rebate. The easiest is the USB, of course. The internal cards were really simple to install. Making the connections are pretty straight forward, too. It's fun, but it operates at "real time" speeds - 2 hour tape takes at least 2 hours to transfer - so it's a little time-consuming.
