Equipment Supplies Neck
Buying Hockey Equipment?
I haven't played hockey for a few years now but now that I'm in college I'm playing on an IM team. We use full equipment and we have to supply our own. The problem is that I've grown almost a foot and gained quite a bit of weight since I last played, and I have no clue what size of things I would need to buy. I don't really have a way to measure myself here and I need to order my stuff by tomorrow night so that it can be here by next week. I'm 18, 6'0" and I weigh 180 lbs, so about what sizes of all the equipment would I need? I know I'm 15" neck, 32" long for dress shirts though, if it helps.
I am 5'11" and 160lbs and I wear mostly medium in everything, so you willl probobly need a large. 14" gloves, probobly 15" ro 16" shinguard depending if you have long legs.

Emergency with Veiled Chameleon!?
I volunteer at a nature centure and a woman came in today with a chameleon she had found in her backyard, which is unusual because they aren't native in SoCal.
I took on the task of rehabilitating it, or at least trying. It's mine now, but I don't know what I should do with my limited supplies.
The chameleon has Metabolic Bone Disease, and a large open wound in the side of it's neck. The wound looks as though it started healing on it's own before I got it. I bought a bottle of liquid calcium to give to the it once a day.
I'm worried becuase all I have to hold it in is a small travel case that would normally be used for a medium sized snake, and I'm not sure if I have the proper UVB/UVA lighting. I have a heating lamp over the cage right now. I'm just not sure I should spend all the money on the proper equipment if I'm not even sure the poor thing is gonna make it.
Can anyone help me by giving me additional info on the humidity, misting, or anything else I need to know?
Chamelons are very hard to keep in captivity. I was a reptile keeper professionaly and am a reptile enthusiast and the reason I dont' have any is because it is so difficult to get it just right.
In the mean time (because I think everything deserves a try) you can help with humidity by placing a dish of water in his enclosure. Keep him warm by placing a heating pad wrapped in two layers of toweling under his tank and set in on low. You do need a uva/uvb bulb, but warmth in the meantime will do. Wal mart used to sell "reptile bulbs"- not the best by any means, but better than an incandessant bulb in a pinch-- if you are near a wal mart...
If he is sort of strong enough to eat, a shallow dish with crickets is best-- pulling the back legs off the crickets seems cruel, but it will help him capture the food before it stresses him. Mealworms or waxworms can also be used in a pinch.
