Fire Firefighter
do high school students who are volunteer firefighter able to leave class for a fire call?
I am trying to find out this info due to my son being a jr. in high school he is 18 and the school is having a fit because his pager went off in class for a call and he left.
In my school firefighters cant leave during school to go to a call without getting in trouble (hate that rule). I heard some schools may allow it. I might leave if I knew it wasn't a BS call and it was confirmed structure fire. It would be ok if the call went out right before school and he got to school late. BTW hope he keeps his pager on vibrate during class... actually tell the school to go fuck themselves, the call could be educational to some.

i would say around 30,000 on average....not sure though. I would just call them and ask them...im sure someone will give you an answer. I used to live in Spanish Springs close to Sparks and there is also a fire dept right there outside of the grocery store....i know it used to be albertsons, but i heard they changed it...haha!
Anyway, thats what I would say though...just give them a call.
