Fire Police Siren
Birds and Sirens ????????????
Do your birds hate police and fire sirens? I live next to a major road and we very often hear fire trucks or police cars driving down with their sirens going. My cockatiels are scared of the sound. Its not even that loud, most of the time I hear the birds freak out before I hear the siren. They fly around the room screeching and then stay noisy for several minutes afterwards.
my cockatiels merely chirp to alert me to the presence of an emergency vehicle near my home, so your focus should be on calming your cockatiels use your voice to reassure them they are safe & secure - make sure there is ample light so they can orient themselves (I employ a nightlight - to stop many a nightfright incidents)

Departments have different protocol for emergency runs.
