IDE Hard Drive Upgrade Question?
So I just made my first computer
Here are the stats:
ECS A780GM-A motherboard
AMD Phenoem 9600
4 GB RAM
Now this computer runs very nicely have never seen the cpu get past 60%. but my only problem is that it seems to take a long time for files to pull up (ex. i go to control panel and it shows the flashlight going over the folders for a couple secounds. My guess is that this is because I am using my old 200 GB IDE HD. Do you think if I upgraded my hard drive to a SATA it would stop doing this?

Definitely, the hard drive is the bottleneck of the modern computer.
It's not just the interface (SATA vs IDE), it's the actual drive speed.
Some drives are optimized for random access, others for energy efficiency. So, do your research and buy the fastest drive you could afford.
Currently, solid state drives (SSD) are the fastest but they are really expensive for the same capacity.

Flashlight hack Maglite upgrade
Verizon cellphone upgrade -- with flashlight -- recommendations?
I am eligible for a free phone upgrade with my Verizon wireless plan. I'm using a rather ancient Kyocera phone right now and am looking for something with a larger display and -- here's what I'm having trouble finding, a phone compatible with my Verizon plan with a handy one-button FLASHLIGHT. Suggestions?
The only phones that Verizon offers with a flashlight are the Nokia 6305i which is not sold at corporate stores or the UT Starcom G'zOne. I'd go with the G'zOne if you don't mind the price. It's made to be dropped and destroyed. It's water resistant. It has a 2 megapixel camera on it. It's the outdoorsman phone.
