Folding Police
Any Police officers out there?
I was watching tv last night, I have seen this and read about it prior to watching this show, and one of the officers got killed and at the end of the show they did the funeral and the flag folding etc. The last thing showed was the 21 gun salute. Why 21 gun, there are 50 states so why 21 gun?
I believe it was the number of states the Union had during the civil war

Can you legally lay down in the back of a SUV w/o a seat belt on while traveling?
I'm referring to the section where the seats are folded down. Will police ticket you for this?
In Ohio, the front seat driver and passenger are required to wear seat belts. Besides that, children up to four years and 40 lbs. or under are required to be in a child safety seat and there is a new law that toddlers meeting certain criteria must be in a booster seat. Besides that, there is no law in this State saying you must be belted in behind the driver. In fact, it is not a primary offense law which means that you cannot simply be stopped for not wearing a safety belt, but you must be stopped for a typical violation such as speed, stop sign violation, etc., and can be cited for a seat belt violation only as a secondary offense. However, there is a Bill being looked at as we speak that would turn it into a primary offense.
So to answer your question, in Ohio as long as they weren't young children it would be allowed to ride unbelted in the back of an SUV.
