Gatso Speed Camera Flashes
Have I been caught by a speed camera if I slowed down and the camera didn't flash?
I was going at about 37 (speedometer showed about 40), along a road. My friend in the passenger seat shouted "SPEED CAMERA". I managed to slow down to about 20 before the end of the lines going across the road, and the speed camera didn't flash. This was at about 9 at night, so it was dark, and my friends didn't see it flash. What are the chances that I have been caught by the speed camera as it is worrying me a lot. By the way, I think it was a gatso speed camera, so the one which takes the photo from the rear. If anyone also has any info on how these cameras work, this would be very helpful and appreciated.

unless it flashes, don't worry a bit. and believe me, you will see the flash, ESPECIALLY at night...i notice them during the day easily so you are good to go. no ticket, no worries
