Help with angular velocity!!!?
The two-gear combination shown in the drawing is being used to lift the load L with a constant upward speed v = 2.19 m/s. The rope that is attached to the load is being wound onto a cylinder behind the big gear. The depth of the teeth of the gears is negligible compared to the radii.
small gear radius --> 0.170 m
large gear radius--> 0.300 m
Determine the angular velocity (magnitude and direction) of the larger gear and of the small gear.

The answer here is so wrong! I have this same problem in my hw for physics. just take the velocity and divide by the radius, thats it.

Cheapest Price for Deep V's? For a Fixed Gear Bike.?
Im looking to get a set of lime green Deep V rims for my Fixed Gear bike. I want to spend around $150 for a set Iv seen $175. Weinmann and Velocity are the only ones I know.?Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy them>
The Velocity wheels are well over $200 on EBay (the only place I know these type of rims are sold) I don't know of any other brands like this either.
I did find a pair of Weinmann wheels for 148 + $17 shipping. That looks like a great price and the shipping is 1/2 of the common $35 shipping. I'd jump on this one if I were you.
