Government Bail
What's going to happen if the government doesn't bail out the auto industry? What if it does?
I've been hearing about how bad of shape the auto industry is in, and I'm not very good at things that have to do with the economy. So what I'm wondering is, what do you think will happen if the government does bail out the auto industry -- and what you think will happen if they don't? Will that harm the already "bad" economy?
The U.S. auto industry is in very bad shape. If the government doesn't bail them out, it is a very real possibility that one or more of the big three automakers will be out of business by the end of the year. This will cause millions of people to lose jobs. It won't be just the people who work directly for the automakers, but also all the suppliers, parts manufacturers, parts distributors, dealership employees, among others. It will put a terrible strain on the already bad economy to have millions out of work. Hopefully, the government does bail them out, and the automakers use the funds not only to stabilize their current business but also to develop alternative fuel vehicles.

Should the Government Bail Out Newspapers?
Should the US government bail out people who own houses way bigger than what they need?
Why are we allowing people to buy properties that they cannot maintain and do not need to live in?
