GOT THIS IN AN EMAIL. iT SAID IF YOU ARE BEING ROBBED, ENTER PIN BACKWORDS AND YOUR MONEY COMES OUT, BUT THE POLICE WILL BE NOTIFIED.
Unfortunately that is not true..
The ONLY way an ATM machine can contact authorities is if the alarm is set off.. and then it goes through a telephone system, to a Alarm Company 6 states away from you, WHO in returns calls the local police department that in turn has to notify the officer, WHO in turn has to drive to the location of the ATM machine..
AS you can see, even if it was true, it would not do you much good..
